Membership Type :
A. Ordinary Members (Voting Member)
(i) Franchisor Members
Any company incorporated or business firm registered in Singapore or an individual engaged in franchising as a franchisor or master franchisee which has appointed sub-franchisees.
(ii) Licensor Members
Any company incorporated or business firm registered in Singapore or an individual engaged in licensing (including brand licensing) as a licensor or head licensee which has appointed sub-licensees.
B. Associate Members (Non-Voting Member)
a. Representative of international franchisors and licensors
b. Master franchisees/ licensees who have not appointed any sub-franchisee/ licensees
c. Prospective franchisors and licensors
d. Persons intending to engage in the transfer of technology and/or intellectual property rights
e. Service-providers to the franchising and licensing industry
The following are required enclosures for Ordinary Membership applications. For Associate Membership applications, only (a), (b), (c) and (d) are required.
a. Registrar of Companies Printout (or Form 24 and Form 49) (Form extracted from ACRA)
b. Membership fee at S$1,000 per annum. Please make cheque payable to "FLA (Singapore)"
c. Franchise / License Information Package / Corporate Brochure
d. Summary of Directors' CVs
e. Recent Audited Financial Statements
