Dr. T Chandroo is the Chairman of Modern Montessori International (MMI), an international group of companies with more than 70 offices in the Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, the U.A.E. and Australia. Specializing in the Montessori method of early childhood education, the internationally accredited company offers training programs, preschool services and franchising opportunities for parents / teachers, children and prospective business partners, respectively.

Additionally, Dr. Chandroo also serves as the MMI Group’s CEO, which duties and responsibilities involve overseeing conception and implementation of all business strategies, policies and processes. Aided by a professional and committed team of directors, managers and executives, Dr. Chandroo has helped grown his company from a single-unit training centre into a multi-million and multi-national education organization employing over 500 staff members in more than 10 countries.

Hailing from a direct-sales background, Dr. Chandroo holds two doctorate degrees – a DBA from Southern Cross University (Australia) and a PhD from Preston University (U.S.A.) – in addition to an MBA (East London University, U.K.) and FCIM (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, U.K.). Apart from his entrepreneurial strives, Dr. Chandroo is also an avid philanthropist, often contributing generously to the community to aid the less fortunate as well as in support of education and lifelong learning.
